Seoraksan, seaside walks, local food and a car-free city break.

Use Sokcho as a coastal city break with a separate Seoraksan day if your schedule allows. The market, Abai Village, beach, harbour and lake can form flexible city outings. The mountain needs a deliberate choice of activity, entrance and return transport.
For one night, start with the city and a comfortable departure. For two nights, consider keeping one day movable for Seoraksan. Choose a base after comparing the complete arrival, sightseeing and departure journeys.
Arriving from Seoul? Read the transport guide and record the terminal on your actual ticket. Choosing a hotel? Compare the beach, city-centre and mountain-approach areas. Planning meals? Use the food guide to understand portions, ingredients and seafood charges before you order.
The suggested routes below are editorial starting points. Combine them with your own travel dates in My Trip and keep live transport, weather and park checks separate from saved sightseeing ideas.
